With The Cowboy Camper
The road trip around Europe begins again. This year (Feb/Mar 2019) saw The Cowboy Camper driving all the way to Estonia and returning through Scandinavia, ending his trip along the Scottish borders and Northumberland.
In this video we explore what to do in York, from The Shambles to the York Minster, from Clifford’s Tower to Fairfax House. We also take a walk along York city walls. We also point out the Jorvik Centre, York Chocolate Story, York Castle Museum, Betty’s Tearoom and other places of interest in this gorgeous English city. Completed in 1258, the cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom at 404 ft. Visitors can take the “Tower Tour” where the interior of the hollow spire, with its ancient wood scaffolding.
UNESCO World Heritage listed. Theorised to be a Neolithic Temple to honour the dead, construction began approx 3700 years ago. Visitors Centre with all facilities and parking onsite
